A Pop Up Shop is a temporary shop (or store) in a temporary location for a short amount of time.

The Pop Up Shop trend started with retailers opening short term sales spaces for flash sales or to sell unwanted or last seasons stock. We saw these a lot in malls. This trend has grown tremendously and now you can find all sorts of Pop Up Shops. Temporary retail shops, food trucks, coffee carts, even garage sales and markets are all considered pop ups.

And we simply love them. They’re full of unique ideas and people, amazing products or goodies to eat and they are not around all the time. Mostly small businesses run by only a few staff. A bit different to the normal mass produced chain store wares. And we’re for the little guy too, happily supporting local businesses and family before overseas run conglomerates. Not that we are anti establishment, it just makes sense to #shopsmall.
